Hi Everyone,
I flew right across the width of Mexico from Cancun on the Caribbean sea to Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific ocean. I had a week to myself which was still spent convalescing from my Cancun experience. However luckily by the time a new Mexican friend I'd met in Orlando had joined me in Cabo, I was healthy again. We spent two days at the beach, one day at a beach club that had an open bar, authentic Mexican buffet lunch and breakfast, as well as an awesome pool and loungers. We went out drinking and dancing one night and went on a sunset boat cruise to see the coastline and magical Mexican sunset. We had a blast.
Cabo San Lucas itself was a beautiful place. The water was crystal clear, the beaches sublime and not too crowded. The flowers and cacti blooming all around town were spectacular, as was the naturally deep harbour that allowed giant cruise ships to moor so close to shore. I had the best time of my trip so far in the 2 weeks I spent in this desert meets ocean oasis of a town. I can't rave highly enough about it and it was exactly what I needed after coming a cropper in Cancun.
Catch up soon,
David
PS: The sealions that lived in the marina were resued by a local who captured them and removed plastic entanglements/obstructions or cared for wounds inflicted by sharks. They were so cute and you could hear their cries all through town.
