Montreal Final Time

Hi Friends, Family and Fans,

Thanks for your patience whilst I convalesced from my illness in New York/Mexico. Feeling 100% better now, fighting fit, ready for anything the Europe Leg of my trip throws at me. Firstly though I have to finish blogging about the end of the North American Leg. Montreal was awesome again, went to a cool old theme park called La Ronde. It is built on the site of the old 1962 Expo site and all the statues, some old pavilions and monuments are still on the man made island. I also went to my 13/14th Cirque Du Soleil show. It was awesome. There was plenty of poutine to be had as well as other delicacies like Beaver Tails (fried dough topped with cream cheese, caramel sauce and choc cover honeycomb crumble). Also the weird rubber wheeled "trains" the metro runs and the Canadians are a trustworthy bunch, unable to take their coolers of food into the theme park, they just leave it outside on the picnic tables and come out at lunch and have it, no one steals it!
