Hi All
Despite an almost six-hour Greyhound breakdown (0130-0700) and slow replacement bus (it would have been quicker to ride an actual greyhound the 2hrs to Charlotte), I made it safe and sound from Detroit, just really really tired. I spent the day at Carowinds today, which was one of the smaller parks I have been to so far, only about as big as Dreamworld but less lethal luckily. I was too fat/tall for 3 of the main rides but the ones I did fit on I rode five times each. There was one ride that was a full rotating pirate ship that had a 76-inch height limit on it and as you can see from the pic, it’s the only time being bald comes in handy. The park is split across both Carolina's as seen in the pic and they have a party (not open for the season yet) which they tout as the only party across two states. Also, there was an awesome plants vs zombies ride that had a ride on mechanical bull type mechanism with laser guns that you shot either the plants or zombies on the 3D screen in front of you with, depending on whose team you were on. Plus, there is a bonus point for anyone who emails and tells me without googling, why the picture of the empty car-park and the red roller coaster hills reminded me of this statement “The moose out front should of told you”
