St Louis

Hi Guys

Had a busy weekend getting from Atlanta to St Louis. Left my motel in Atlanta at 0600, stored my bag at the greyhound bus station and headed to six flags over Georgia for the day. Then i headed back at 1700 and took an over-nite greyhound to St Louis. I got into St Louis at 0830 Sunday morning. I then took a tram (streetcar) and a bus for 3/4 of the journey from downtown St Louis to my accommodation near six flags over Missouri. Then I had to take a $30 cab the rest of the way as the only bus that runs that route runs during the week and six flags was only open weekends at this point of the season. I tried to leave my bag at my new motel (pictured, but i didn't find a pool full of breakfast foods, disappointing) at 1100 but they said they don't store luggage, so had to hump my bag over to six flags along roads not designed for pedestrians (pictured) and pay $13 for the smallest locker that only fit my bag if I took all my clothes out and put it all in separately. Finally got on a ride and i couldn't fit (pictured), went to another ride (batman ride same as the lethal weapon ride at movie-world, most theme parks have modified seats that have bigger straps but this one didn't), couldn't fit. I blame my height, not my big butt and guts but oh well. Finally went on a couple of rides and the steam train and then humped my bag back to my motel so I could check in. Busy weekend, very tiring (slept for 16hrs straight that night) but I made it alive, however not many pictures taken as i was too busy traveling/sleeping. I got to see the St Louis Arch (pictured) early one morning on my last day in St Louis as it was raining hard the day I wanted to look around the downtown area. Took the greyhound out of St Louis to Kansas City with the joker (pictured).

Stay cool

David
